Fred Taylor Still Struggling

Once again, the Jacksonville Jaguars couldn’t get it going on the ground. Fred Taylor was limited to only 49 yards on 14 carries, he also added 5 yards from 1 reception. The Jags lost the game 20-16. Even though their offensive line is complete garbage, it’s no excuse for the Jaguars poor offensive play.

They have got to get the run game going, and they need to do it in a way that isn’t so damn predictable. Fred isn’t ready to give up on it just yet. “I got a little juice,” Taylor said. “That’s my job. My job is to create positive yardage, regardless of how the play’s blocked. I’ve been doing it my whole career.”

The Jags have to travel to Indianapolis this week. It’s going to be a very tough game, but Fred always plays them well. If the Jaguars want any shot at the playoffs, they must win this game.

Fred Taylor was nominated as one of the FedEx Air & Ground NFL Players of the Week for his performance in Week 3. The NFL will announce the winners on Friday, and fans can vote at NFL.com/FedEx until Friday at 11:00 a.m. EST. The winners are determined solely by online fan votes.

The best part is if Taylor wins, FedEx will make a $1,000 donation in Taylor’s name to the local Jacksonville Safe Kids Coalition. FedEx is teamed up with Safe Kids USA – a national non-profit organization that works to prevent accidental injury among children – to deliver safer kids by making weekly $1,000 donations in the winning players’ cities. The funding directly benefits pedestrian safety improvements throughout the year.

The NFL release is pasted below. Will you be able to get in a mention to get Taylor’s fans to vote for him?

I look forward to hearing from you and please let me know if you have questions.

    Thanks,
