Fred Taylor Named AFC Player of the Month
Congratulations to Fred Taylor on being named the AFC’s Offensive Player of the Month by the NFL. The month of December was one of the best 4-game stretches of his career. Fred rushed for 494 yards on 64 carries (7.7 avg.) with three touchdowns. His stats would have been even better had he not sat out the last game of the season for extra rest.
“It’s a good honor,” said Taylor on the AFC Offensive Player of the Month award. “I have worked hard, but all the credit goes to my offensive line and my fullback, Greg Jones. We’ve got to keep going, though, we got to keep going.”
